How do I apply?
Most people I think apply on indeed or sites like that. If you are looking for DSP and not Flex just look for keywords like "Amazon Branded Vehicle" and "Weekly or Bi-Weekly Pay" and "Benefits." Also, I think DSP jobs usually mention the pay starts between $18.75 and $21.75 and flex jobs usually advertise around $17 an hour. This can vary by state. Or sometimes it will say "DSP" or "Delivery Partner" right in the desription.

What is the interview like?

The interview is very laxed, they are most likely going to hire you as long as you can pass background check and drug test. After the interview they will email you about taking the drug test. When you complete that, you will usually hear from them the next day or two. If you do not hear from them then reach out and follow up, they have a lot going on and you don't want to slip through. I know some states do not test for THC, perhaps others may but I am not sure.

What is the training process?

Training may be different depending on the state but in my experience and from what I read it is this -
Amazon trains you first, not your DSP. This is very likely going to be at the warehouse in which you are going to be delivering out of. So in your class might be all people you do not work with because they are with a different DSP. Or maybe a few are with the same DSP as you and you may see them later.
The training is 3 days in the classroom. You get paid for it. It is just boring. Watching videos, taking easy tests. Pay attention, ask questions. Some of it is useless and is done differently on the job, some of it is helpful and will be useful. At the end of the third day of training you do the road test. This is pretty easy if you know how to drive. If you have never driven a van like the one that is used do not panic. It is not that difficult. The rear camera is extremely helpful. It makes driving on your actual route so much easier. Reversing out of long winding, wooded driveways in the dark would be brutal without these cameras.

After you complete the training reach out to DSP and let them know. They will set you up for your first day. First day is very likely going to be you driving, with a trainer in the passenger seat. Just do what they say, pay attention to any tips they give you about loading in the morning. Ask them questions throughout the day. I can not stress this enough. This is the best time to find out as much as you can about the company you work for. Ask them anything you are curious about. I asked my trainer what towns they all delivered to. How many stops is considered a lot of stops, how many is considered a little. How many stops are you suppose to hit an hour ? If I have any questions in the future who is the best person to ask? Do you like working here ? What if I need a day off or to switch my schedule around? Don't bombard them with questions right off the get go but think about things you really you may need to know and ask them periodically throughout the day. Also any questions you may have before your first day you can message me and I will try and help.

You do one day with your trainer and then you are on your own. They will start you on nursery routes. 75-130 stops. This seems like a lot. It is not. Every day will get easier and you will get faster every day. Just focus on being organized and driving correctly. Nursery route lasts like 2-3 weeks I think. Then you will get bumped up to more stops. I would say 160-180 is maybe an average amount of stops but this can vary depending on a number of factors.
